OLANDA – Il primo paese ad aprire i seggi per le elezioni europee 2024 è l’Olanda. Alle 7.30 di questa mattina i Paesi Bassi sono stati i primi in Ue ad aprire i seggi, inaugurando una sessione elettorale che in 4 giorni porterà al voto oltre 370 mln di elettori da Lisbona a Tallinn. L’estrema destra olandese guidata dal Partito della Libertà (Pvv) del leader anti-Islam ed euroscettico Geer Wilders, trionfatore a sorpresa alle elezioni nazionali di novembre scorso,è data in testa ai sondaggi con un largo margine sull’alleanza europeista laburisti- verdi guidata da Frans Timmermans.
